| Let's see, what do I want today? |
The heat was getting a bit intolerable for many of us. Suddenly the spectrum exploded from all the complaints!
Clouds gathered and darkened with water as they frantically tried to respond to the Earth's need for water.
Rivers that usually had enough height to let fish pass through freely begged for a deluge to save the life they contained.
Long, dark clouds raced towards each other to create loud thunder, brilliant flashes of lightning, and heavy splotches of rain and hail.
The weather cooled down as wind scattered unbelievable amounts of water across the land. Flash floods, ferocious waves, and sheets of rain took the place of the merciless beating down of the sun.
Finally, Mother Nature is taking a break. It's nearly mid-July and the sunshine is returning.
It's a good day to remember how important it is to love both rain and sun as they balance our universe.
Has your summer weather returned to normal?
Our weather has been all over the place. We had one of the worst winters ever down here, and the summer has been stifling.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has finally started to level out. It's still not what I'd call normal, but it's better.
ReplyDeleteWe just moved to Florida a few months ago, so I'm not really sure what normal is down here. All I know for sure is that it's HOT!
ReplyDeleteI did have to drive through a pretty big storm the other day. It cleared up though and it's been nice.

ReplyDeleteWe've been having crazy weather here. I was rainy and chilly for about 2 weeks and now it's finally warming up again. I love the rain though, its so relaxing! - Jeanine

ReplyDeleteWe have not had many hot days yet... but I like the cooler days just as well. Variety is nice.

ReplyDeleteOur weather has been all over the place. This week it maybe have been in the 70s and next week we are possibly going to hit 100.

ReplyDeleteWe have been getting a huge amount of rain here lately. When it is not raining it is extremely hot. I am hoping for a little cooler weather soon.
ReplyDeleteWe have had an unusually rainy summer. It's good for drought but I'll confess I'd be fine with a stretch of summer temperatures now!

ReplyDeleteI love storms lol we've had more rain than usually this summer, our back gravel parking is more like a swamp lol But I know its good for things, but haven't even been able to swim much! Too cold or rainy!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting back to hot and humid.Our part of Oklahoma is not in drought now with all the rain. At least for this week.
