It’s fun to meet friendly pets gallivanting around with
their human families. With rainy weather taking a back seat to the sunshine,
there are fun places to take your dog besides Home Depot and PetSmart.
This handsome Mastiff is still a youngster at 7 months old.
He’ll be a bit taller and about 70 pounds heavier when he reaches maturity. He accompanied
his mom to an outdoor Farmers Market and Boutique.
Check out his adorable shoes. The asphalt was very hot.
Unlike some dogs who moved as close to the shade as their leash allowed to keep
their paw pads from burning, he was able to comfortably stand on the pavement.
He got used to the idea as a pup, when his mom would put
slippers on his feet so he got used to walking around with something on his
paws. Next came practice wearing shoes in the house for a short time each day.
Now he knows his tender feet are protected when he goes out for a walk during
the hot summer.
Mastiffs are good-natured and calm. They are protective, yet
affectionate. This young gentleman enjoys his dignified shoes.
It’s not every day you pass by a Lapsadoodle. Beautiful and
happy, this poodle, Australian Shepherd, and Labrador mix is having a great
time meeting and greeting people and other dogs on the circuit.
Small, collapsible canvas water bowls are perfect to carry
along. Open it, pour in some water, and watch the dog comfortably lap it up.
Are there any special things you do to keep your pet happy
and comfy while they accompany you on your travels?
Puppies! I absolutely LOVE dogs. And cats. And tiny rodential pets. I love pets in general. Furry anything, really.
ReplyDeleteHah those shoes are too funny but very useful! I always make sure to have a bowl and water for my pup whenever we go out! She's the only one we ever take anywhere - pretty sure my pig and cats would not be up for traveling!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute doggies! I love seeing dogs out in public when I'm running errands.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute pups! I am going to have to grab collapsible bowls for my 3 pups. I think they'd be useful for our quick walks but also in our backyard where my dogs love hanging out in the shade! - Jeanine

ReplyDeleteI wish I could take my boxers out and about other than for walks around our neighborhood. Sadly, they have poor manners and act like heathens when they see other humans or animals. They just get so excited and can't contain their jumpy ways lol.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they make shoes for dogs!!! How cute are they! When we had a dog, I loved dressing him up...sadly, he did not like it nearly as much as I did! :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a dog of our own but our daughter has started a dog walking/sitting business so we are learning a lot about many different types of dogs.

ReplyDeleteMy niece just got a new puppy and she's so precious! The new puppy yearning is almost as strong as the effect holding a newborn baby is.
ReplyDeleteYour dog looks charming, I would love to have a dog in the house but our place is small and I am not sure if my son will like the idea.
