| Classic cars are beautiful. |
Golly, I love classic cars! The cities of Reno and Sparks, Nevada host Hot August Nights in the early part of August. Automobiles of all types have certain areas where they park so visitors can enjoy the pride and joy that gets them ready for the exhibit.
Owners guide their vehicles along a designated route, cruising past thousands of classic car celebrants. Fans and participants come from thousands of miles away. Haulers arrive in town with 3 or more vehicles prior to the kickoff of the event. Owners have favorite garages, body shops, and detailers to check the car over in preparation for the week long event.
I'm thankful for digital cameras that let me get hundreds of pictures to sort through at a later date. Modern technology! Isn't it wonderful?
A car show is coming to the Silverado Casino in Fernley, NV on September 26th. You can bet I'll be in the parking area taking pictures of and admiring trucks and cars of long ago.

ReplyDeleteClassic car shows are fun. There is one near us once a year and it is a huge tourist draw.
